FAQ
Q. What is situational awareness and why would i need it?
A. Being aware of your surroundings, identifying potential threats and dangerous situations. It is always safer to not be in a situation than to have to run or fight.
Q. Will I learn everything I need to know to be safe in just a quick class?
A. No. Although our goal is to teach you skills to help you be safe, we strongly encourage you to continue training.
Q. What type of self defense do you teach?
A. Our goal is to teach our students how to make effective personal safety decisions. We do this by teaching both verbal and physical skills, the most common types of attacks and dynamics of the attacker. We teach target areas that are most vulnerable and some options of how to get home safe. Training also includes verbal self defense tactics that are practiced in role playing scenarios and dealing with strangers as well as people you know.
